The Omnitracs fleet-management-solutions provider has opened submissions for its second annual Big Rig Buddies Contest. To be eligible to win, entrants must submit a photo along with a brief description explaining why their on-highway pet is the best companion on the road. At the close of the entry period, the public will have an opportunity to vote over a two-week period and the entry that receives the most votes will determine which driver has the “pick of the litter.”

Entries are being accepted through end of day (central time) August 5, 2018. The voting period is August 6 through August 19. The contest is open to current and retired commercial truckers, and winners will be announced Friday, August 24, at the Great American Trucking Show in Dallas.
