National Truck Driver Appreciation Week will be held in two weeks, Sept. 9-15, and is an opportunity for those inside and outside the trucking industry to let drivers know they are appreciated.
In recognition of that week, Overdrive‘s sister publication Truckers News is going to help people show that appreciation with the iLuvMyTrucker contest.
Truckers News is asking friends, spouses, kids, parents, significant others, co-workers and others to tell about the trucker they love and why. All they have to do is fill out a form online and send a picture of the trucker they luv. Most submissions will be posted as they come in, and the best ones will be published during National Truck Driver Appreciation Week.
Truckers in the five best entries will receive a $20 Subway gift card for the recognition.
