Transflo adds spotted lanternfly compliance information to mobile app

Truck drivers using the Transflo Mobile+ app can now add a premium feature to their service that helps with compliance with the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture’s spotted lanternfly quarantine and permitting orders.

Truckers and fleets can contact Transflo to have the main menu of their app upgraded to include a “Spotted Lanternfly” button, which provides access to current regulations, photos of the spotted lanternfly and one-touch reporting to agricultural authorities.

It also directs users to information about the training and certification process, which is required for all businesses picking up and delivering freight in the quarantine zone.

The spotted lanternfly is an invasive species native to Asia that has the potential to cause considerable damage to many crops in Pennsylvania and beyond, including forest products, grapes, apples, peaches and more.
