National Truck Driver Appreciation Week set for Sept. 8-14

National Truck Driver Appreciation Week will be held this year during the week of Sept. 8-14 to honor America’s truckers.

Throughout the week, trucking companies and industry organizations will celebrate truckers with cookouts, bonuses, awards and more.

As part of the celebration, the American Trucking Associations will honor truck drivers with a Trucking Day at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C., during a Major League Baseball game between the Washington Nationals and Atlanta Braves on Friday, Sept. 13. Truckers will sing the national anthem before the game, receive mid-game recognitions from fans and participate in on-field activities.
