Marked by its strength and ease of untying, the troop 9 site administrator says that the Trucker’s Hitch is easily “>the most requested knot since the Troop 9 site was launched a couple of years ago.” In addition, the site catalogs a variety of both common and obscure knots — among them the Sheet Bend, Sheep Shank and Tautline Hitch — with animated demonstrations of each.
