Attention, drivers. Lindsay Lawler is …
… coming to a truck stop near me:
That’s the word, as the finale of Lawler’s Highway Angel Truck Stop Tour of various TA Petro locations around the nation jumps off in Nashville October 29. The tour, part of the Truckload Carriers Association’s Highway Angel driver-recognition program and sponsored by Schneider National and EpicVue, has been ongoing since April.
Readers will be familiar with Lindsay Lawler, likewise a special guest announced as commandeering the stage for part of the performance, owner-operator Nate Moran, winner of the Overdrive/Red Eye Radio Trucker Talent Search this year. I’m planning to catch the 6 p.m. show and will broadcast parts of it via Overdrive‘s Periscope stream, if you’re one of our followers there. Others who work the area or commonly pass through, there are a few other special guests planned, and food, drinks, a bonfire and giveaways will be on offer. It’s all open to the public and all ages are invited to attend.
Catch Moran’s performance at this year’s Trucker Talent Search at the head of our “Music to truck by” Soundcloud playlist below. It’s followed by Lawler’s “Goodbye Go” single from her Two Peaches Six Cookies record.
