Ricky “Rude” Proffitt will gun for his fourth win in a row this weekend at Greenville-Pickens Raceway in Easley, S.C., as the Minimizer Bandit Big Rig Series returns to action Saturday, June 10.

This is the second time the Bandit Series has visited the northwestern South Carolina track this season. Proffitt started his three-race win streak at the track on April 15.

“I’m running really good right now,” Proffitt says. “The truck is in great shape, and we did pretty well at Greenville-Pickens a couple months ago, so I’m looking forward to getting back there.”

Last time the Bandits visited the track, in March, it was a sellout, and series officials are hoping for another big turnout this weekend.

“They’ve been sold out of food and drinks everywhere we’ve been,” team owner and driver Craig Kruckeberg says. “The response has been fantastic.”

Tickets for the race are $15 for adults, $5 for children ages 9-11, and free for children 8 and younger. Gates at the track open at 4 p.m. and the racing begins at 7:30 p.m.
