The updated Iteris Lane Departure Warning system alerts drivers when they unintentionally cross lanes. The windshield-mounted camera gauges the relative position of the truck within the lane, sounding an alarm if a road marking is crossed. Features include allowances for different light conditions and roads that have only a single lane marking or fog line, improved curve tracking for tight turns and alarm volume control. The device is disabled when turn signals are used or when the truck is traveling at speeds slower than 37 mph.
