Bridgestone’s Firestone drive tire

Updated May 26, 2020

Bridgestone’s Firestone FD692 Drive Tire features more biting edges than its predecessor and carries a Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake certification for added performance in wet and winter conditions. The durable tire is engineered with a high-rigidity tread pattern to help control movement of the tread blocks for even wear and reduced rolling resistance. The company’s proprietary sidewall technology and design limits heat loss, improves fuel efficiency and reduces overall tire weight without sacrificing durability. A stone rejector platform helps increase the casing’s retreadability by preventing trapped stones from pushing into the tread’s grooves and piercing the tire’s belt layer. The tire is available in four sizes.
