I don’t exactly consider myself beautiful, but I am determined. I’ve been driving a truck for 16 years on and off. I met my husband in orientation for the first company I went to work for. He rolled our truck a few years ago with me in the bunk asleep and no longer drives. I drive solo to care for our family and him. I am a mother of eight children and a survivor of domestic violence from my first marriage. I am a jewelry artist. I participate in the free arts movement and practice Random Acts Of Kindness by leaving the jewelry pieces with a tag that says “free art/a gift for you” I make at truck stops and rest areas for people to find. It is a way of giving back to the universe without any expectations in return. I consider myself a hard worker and try to always be professional and safe at what I do out here on the roads. I’ve got a lot of people counting on me at home.
