Got my Momma’s beautiful blue eyes and dark hair. I love helping others whether they be the less fortunate or another flatbed driver needing help with tarp in or securing the load. I have been pulling a flat bed tractor-trailer for 34 years and enjoy getting to see God’s country while working. I lost my Momma before Thanksgiving last year, and my life hasn’t been the same. When not in the truck, I was at her and Daddy’s taking care of them. Momma always worried about me out on this road. But I always tried to comfort her mind. I sure miss her but I am very blessed to still have my Daddy. I love God, my family, and my church family. On the weekends when I can me and some of the others ladies at our church make home made soup, biscuits and cornbread and feed the homeless here in our town. We go all the way up in the woods. I love this. Trucking is my favorite hobby outside of crocheting, quilting and making home made canned goods. I love doing that stuff just so I have something to give people. I am definitely a giver. One time when I was 5, I gave a brand new Easter dress with the tags on it to my 5 year old friend. She didn’t get a new one, and I couldn’t stand the thought of her not having a new Easter dress. Pretty much that has been my life’s motto. If I got it and you need it you can have it. I was born and raised in downtown Atlanta, Georgia. It was here where I started my fancy for trucking. The trucks would come by the house all day long taking freight to the CSX railroad. I was hooked. I would be in the front yard playing with friends I could here a truck coming and would run to the edge of the yard just to get a look. There was this one turn they would always have to make at the corner of the house across the road … a phone pole right there. Well there was an old storm drain with a grate over it I climbed down in there just to get a closer look underneath as the axle crossed over the grate. My Momma never did like my choice of a career bit she learned to love it when I could buy her pretty things. She was a great woman. That’s about all I can tell you about myself, besides the fact that I’m crazy. I am a March baby right there along with my Momma and her Momma. My Nanny, Jessie Kate. So I come from a long line of crazies with big ol’ blue eyes.
