I may have only been driving for 4 and 1/2 years, but I was taught and coached by old school drivers so I drive and treat other drivers by the old code. I’ve only ever pulled a flatbed because I love the challenge I love doing what they say I can’t do because I’m a small statured woman. I’m really good at my job. I have two children and four grandchildren. I have missed the births of all but one of my grandchildren, so, yes, the job is very difficult and would take a toll on a weaker family. My children, however, fully support my career choice, which makes it so much easier to kiss them, tell them goodbye and then watch them fade in my mirrors as I leave to provide what the world demands.
