Doug Huffman owns this 2022 Peterbilt 579 and leases it on with ATS Specialized, out of St. Cloud, Minnesota. The rig is powered by a Cummins X15 with a 12-speed autoshift. The truck's name is "Fancy Like." "She's no largecar, but she's still 'Fancy Like,'" Huffman says. He uses the rig to pull open deck freight.

Lawsuit seeks to halt FMCSA's non-domiciled CDL final rule

That latest filing in the case of owner-operator Jorge Rivera Lujan v. the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration asks for an emergency stay of the government's final rule restricting non-domiciled CDL eligibility, pending judicial review.
