Garry Sims has been an owner-operator for 46 years and drives this 1996 Peterbilt 379 EHXD. The rig sports a Cat 3406C with a 15-speed Eaton-Fuller Overdrive with 3:50 rears. Sims found the truck "sitting in a man's back yard," noting the truck "had been sitting there for 14 years with a blown engine." He bought the truck two years ago and rebuilt the engine, put new tires on it and has been driving it since. Sims says he still drives around 125,000 miles a year.
