Small-fleet owner Joe Smith owns this 2002 Peterbilt 379 -- one of five company trucks in his Hawley, Texas-based Bar S Logistics fleet. The company started out hauling milk and pulling step decks. Today, the fleet still pulls step decks but has transitioned to chemical tanks and has three of them. Smith bought four FLD120 Freightliners when he started the business in 2015 and has been replacing them with newer trucks as he's grown. He said he's always wanted a 379, and after two years of searching, he found this one in Lubbock, Texas. He bought it and has been slowly fixing it up over the last three years. "It has been a solid truck and one my family has enjoyed riding in with me occasionally," he said. The rig is powered by a Cat C12 with a 10-speed. Smith said he plans on showing the truck in the future.
