Altom Transport's flagship '01 379

Altom Transport's 2001 Peterbilt 379

Altom Transport's truck No. 89 is the fleet's flagship rig, "a symbol of legacy, pride and honor," according to Thomas J. Warren, executive vice president of the 287-truck liquid bulk carrier. Warren said the truck is a tribute to Al Warren, "the grandfather of the family that drives the spirit of Al Warren Oil and Altom Transport." The truck is equipped with a C15 Cat with a 13-speed manual.

"Custom-built to commemorate Al Warren, Truck No. 89 is more than a flagship -- it's a family heirloom, a traveling monument, a piece of history that reverberates with the lessons of the past and fuels the journey into the future," Warren said. "Whenever it takes to the highway, it's as if Grandfather Al himself is there, guiding the way, inspiring another generation to pursue excellence and uphold the family tradition."

Warren added that the rig is more than a truck -- "it's the heart of Al Warren Oil and Altom Transport, beating strongly with the pulse of a legacy that endures."
