Starting Nov. 30, Cascade Sierra Solutions is giving rebates from $100 to $1,000 for fuel saving equipment on tractors and trailers for truck owners based in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont.
The Coburg, Ore.-based company will provide rebate vouchers and low-interest financing for truck owners to outfit their rigs with technologies such as idle-reduction, aerodynamic improvements, low rolling resistance tires and exhaust filtration through funding from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Transport refrigeration units are also eligible for repowers and replacements when the old unit is scrapped.
