The first Great Dane trailers were completed at the Jonesboro, Ark., facility in mid-October following a recall of about 70 employees in September, the trailer maker announced. The plant had been idle since October of last year.
Initially, 20 SSL dry freight vans featuring single-sided laminate interior lining will be built per week, said a company spokeswoman Michelle Ryan.
Dry freight van net orders have increased after a period of decline, Ryan said.
