I-405 near Seattle to be closed

Truckers will face detours as a section of Interstate 405 in Bellevue, Wash., will shut down April 1-4 to enable a bridge demolition.

Both directions of I-405 between NE 8th Street and State Route 520 will be closed from 11 p.m. April 1 to 4 a.m. April 4, the Washington State Department of Transportation said.

The NE 12th Street overpass will be torn down to make way for construction of northbound ramps connecting to I-405 and SR 520. A replacement bridge for NE 12th Street is under construction.
