Jacobson drivers and owner-operators leased to the carrier can win bonuses and a prize of $5,000 in an incentive program that will continue through December, the Des Moines, Iowa,-based fleet announced.
The so-called Amazing Referral Race contest will reward the Jacobson driver with the grand prize of $5,000 for referring the most new owner-operators. The grand prize will be awarded on top of the $1,000 bonus per referral already given to drivers for every newly hired contractor, the carrier said.
The driver with the second-most referrals during the stated time period will receive his or her choice of a $1,000 fuel card, $1,000 Best Buy gift card or $1,000 of free shop maintenance. Drivers making referrals will also be eligible to win prizes during a referral raffle held each month.
This program is open to all Jacobson contracted owner operators, full-time drivers and contracted fleet owners and fleet owner drivers.
