The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Enforcement Division has scheduled a public meeting on May 31 to discuss technologies of electronic on-board recorders.
The agenda will be limited to the technical capabilities of one-way transfer through wired and wireless methods and the specifications of the file format. The meeting is free of charge and open to all interested parties, but will not be a forum for discussion of broader nontechnical EOBR issues.
The meeting will be held from 1-5 p.m. at the U.S. DOT Conference Center, Room 4, 1200 New Jersey Ave. SE, in Washington, D.C.
