Hornady Transportation announces driver pay increase

Hornady Transportation has increased pay for company drivers by 1 cent per mile, the carrier said.

The fleet’s Human Resource Director Guy Martonrana says now experienced drivers can earn up to 45 cents a mile.

The carrier will also begin to hire truckers for northern Indiana and Illinois. Drivers from those areas will be eligible for premium pay, which means they could earn up to 47 cents per mile.

In addition, the carrier is also offering a revised Sign-On Bonus that will give drivers more immediate pay.  Martonrana says drivers will receive an extra 2 cents on all dispatched miles they run.
