Hornady buys new ProStar+ tractors

Forty new International ProStar+ tractors equipped with MaxxForce engines will be in service in March, Monroeville, Ala.-based Hornady Transportation LLC announced.

The tractors’ engines get about 7 miles per gallon and the trucks have set-front back axles and automotive style controls. Cruise control, engine compression brakes, air horn and radio controls are located on the steering wheel itself, enabling easy adjustments.

Deliveries of the tractors started in December.
