Twelve drivers were recognized for outstanding volunteer work with elementary-school students at the recent trucking trade show in Louisville, Ky., Trucker Buddy International announced.
The 2011 Trucker Buddies of the Month honored are Dave Anderson, Crete Carriers; Ken Armstrong, Swift Transportation; Jim Buwalda, Team One; Tom Byl, Walmart; Craig Dickason; Duane Donner, Walmart; Susan and Henry Gantner, Roadrunner Transportation; Randy Garrett, Archwood Protection; Russ James, David Kuklewicz; Titan Transportation; Joseph Rich, Wayne Dalton; Mark Silva, Walmart.
The nonprofit, educational outreach with an emphasis on establishing a positive image for the trucking industry has expanded since its start in 1992.
