Peterbilt on Wednesday, July 11, announced that it now is producing its new Model 579 that features aerodynamic styling optimized for improved fuel efficiency and an interior that addresses operator comfort and productivity. The first 579 production vehicles are being built for Peterbilt and PacLease dealers.
The Model 579’s 2.1-meter aluminum cab is available as a day cab or with a detachable sleeper. The truck features the integrated Paccar MX 12.9-liter engine.
