Old Dominion increases pay

Updated Aug 8, 2012

Thomasville, N.C.-based Old Dominion has increased its base pay 4.9 percent, which will go into effect this week. The increase may differ for some drivers due to variables like driving distance and lanes utilized. The company says the increase is to offset rising costs and affect ODFL559/555 tariffs and the 505 Canadian tariffs. The increase will also cause a nominal increase in intrastate, interstate or cross-border lane charges.
