Con-way driver hits 3 million miles

Con-way Truckload announced that one of its drivers has achieved 3 million miles of driving. Con-way recognized company driver Robert Wingert of Golden City, Mo., for his accomplishment during a ceremony held at the company’s Joplin headquarters. During Con-way Truckload’s 61-year history, only 15 of its drivers have reached the 3-million-mile driving mark.

Wingert, 59, began his professional driving career in 1973 and joined the company in 1986. He hit his first million miles in 1996 and his second million in 2004.
