Neway ADZ Series drive axle suspensions by SAF-Holland are available as an option for Western Star 4800, 4900 and 6900 models, the last pictured in a logging application above. The streamlined ADZ Series design reduces weight by more than 220 pounds per axle compared to previous models and is suited for severe-duty and heavy-duty vocational applications.
The integral lower control arm module is designed to improve roll stability for loaded vehicles with a high center of gravity. The suspensions are available in single-, tandem- and tridem-axle configurations ranging from 23,000 to 78,000 pounds.
