Private CSA data firm Vigillo acquired by driver scoring company

Driver monitoring firm SambaSafety announced last week it has acquired data firm Vigillo, which monitors Compliance, Safety, Accountability data.

SambaSafety says the acquisition will combine its driver MVR monitoring with Vigillo’s CSA violations and crash monitoring to help fleets manage and track driver performance.

“For DOT regulated fleets, pre-hire and post-hire driver records can now be synchronized into driver qualification files to ensure that safe, policy-compliant drivers are on the road,” says Richard Crawford, CEO of SambaSafety.
