Overdrive sister publications Truck Parts & Service and Successful Dealer have opened the nomination periods for their annual Distributor of the Year and Successful Dealer awards.
Now in its 17th year, the Distributor of the Year award, presented by Truck Parts & Service and sponsored by Interstate Billing, Meritor and Minimizer, is the independent aftermarket’s highest honor. The award seeks to recognize the industry’s top parts distributors for superior customer service, industry involvement, relationship building, product knowledge, business growth, technology adaptation and business innovation.
Anyone is welcome, and encouraged, to nominate a distributor for the award. The five distributor businesses with the most nominations at the conclusion of the nomination period will be named award finalists, and the 2018 Truck Parts & Service Distributor of the Year will be named in January at Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW) 2019 in Las Vegas.

The Successful Dealer Award is one trucking’s most unique and coveted awards. Sponsored by Automann, Interstate Billing and Premium 2000, the Successful Dealer Award seeks to recognize commercial truck dealer franchises for superior sales performance, high-quality customer service, proactive training efforts, successful sales and marketing strategies, environmental and green initiatives and community and civic involvement.
All medium- and heavy-duty commercial truck dealers are eligible for the award, and anyone active in the trucking industry can nominate a dealer at this link.
Successful Dealer will choose its five finalists for the annual award based off industry nominations, and the winner will be announced in September this year.
