Michelin set to increase tire prices in December

Michelin announced this week it will be increasing its commercial tire prices beginning Dec. 1.

The 8 percent increase will apply to all commercial brands, products and services offered by Michelin. The company says the increase, which will be paired with a 5 percent increase in passenger tire prices on Jan. 1, will address increased operating costs and other factors.

Bridgestone last month announced a 10 percent price increase for its commercial tire brands.
