Tire manufacturer Bridgestone announced this week it will be increasing commercial tire prices by up to 10 percent beginning next month.

The company says increased business costs prompted it to increase National Account, National Fleet and National Fleet Preferred account prices on all Bridgestone and Firestone truck and bus radial tires, Bandag retreads and tire-related services in the U.S. and Canada.

All tires shipped after Nov. 9 will reflect the price increase. Bridgestone says its sales team is contacting customers to provide more information about the changes.
