Weekly prize drawings in Landstar’s trailer-inspection initiative will take place after each 7-day period during the month-long event, starting Sept. 19, 2019. The final grand-prize drawings will take place the day after the month-long event on Friday, October 18.Landstar is encouraging leased owner-operators pulling company-owned or leased trailers to bring in those trailers for company standard 120-day inspections between September 19 and October 17 at any approved Landstar network inspection site. As an incentive, owner-operators who participate in the “Inspection Connection” event will be entered for a chance to win one of two grand prizes – a ride aboard the Goodyear Blimp or a two-night stay at a condo in Orlando, Fla.
On the company’s “Safety Thursday,” September 19, kicking off the monthlong event, third-party inspectors will be inspecting trailers at Landstar facilities in Fort Worth, Texas; Jefferson, Ga.; St. Augustin, Fla.; and Laredo, Texas. Those who bring trailers in for inspection there will also be entered to win weekly prizes from vendors like Great Dane, Hyundai, Fontaine, TA Petro and Vanguard.
Every leased owner-op who gets a Landstar trailer inspected between Inspection Connection kick-off and the end of this year will also earn an additional entry in the company’s 2020 Deliver to Win Truck Giveaway contest.
