Mack, Volvo to test integrating insurance with financing services

Volvo, Mack integrating insurance into financial services
Volvo Financial Services and Mack Financial Services announced each will be working with insurtech company REIN to pilot an integrated digital insurance offering.

The service will allow Volvo Trucks and Mack Trucks customers to connect in real time with insurance companies to access different coverages, make claims and handle their other insurance-related needs online.

The pilot program is currently available in select U.S. markets. Both companies plan to expand the service nationwide with intentions to offer in in select international markets in the future.

More details on the programs will be announced at a later date.

Four new Love’s add 335 truck parking spaces
Love’s Travel Stops this week opened four new locations in James Town, Wyoming; St. Charles, Minnesota; Hamilton, Alabama; and Papillion, Nebraska. In total, the new locations add 335 truck parking spaces to the company’s growing network.

The James Town, Wyoming, store is located along I-80 and offers 87 truck parking spaces, a Carl’s Jr. restaurant, nine diesel bays, seven showers, a Speedco and more.

In St. Charles, Minnesota, along I-90, the new Love’s features 63 truck parking spaces, a Hardee’s restaurant, eight diesel bays, six showers and more.

The Hamilton, Alabama, Love’s is located along I-22/U.S. 78 and features 78 truck parking spaces, an Arby’s restaurant, eight diesel lanes, seven showers, a Speedco and more.

Finally, along Highway 370 in Papillion, Nebraska, the new Love’s boasts 107 truck parking spaces, a Wendy’s restaurant, eight diesel lanes, seven showers, a Speedco and more.
