The Kellogg Company named Crete Carrier its 2011 National Carrier of the Year. Crete earned this award by providing outstanding performance in numerous categories, Kellogg says. The National Carrier of the Year Award is based on seven metrics: on-time delivery, EDI compliance, invoice accuracy, percentage of claims, safety, facility survey and on-time contract amendments. Each metric has an assigned point value, which is accumulated throughout the year based on performance and service.
