Pot of gold: Tanker-hauling Freightliner

Owner-operator Ron Stroke hauls chemical tankers for Kuhle Brothers with his 1991 Freightliner FLD 120. The truck is powered by a 3406B Caterpillar and a 13-speed transmission. The picture here was taken at Stroke’s home garage in Jefferson, Ohio. “I had just put the decals on it, and I pulled it out of the garage and the rainbow appeared,” he said. “So I took a picture of it — I thought it was pretty neat.”
