Andrew Soucy bought this 2001 Western Star 4964EX in 2003 and has put nearly 1 million miles on it since. It’s powered by a 525-hp Cummins N14 with a 13-speed overdrive and 3:42 rears. The engine got a fresh rebuild at 1.2 million miles, but the transmission and rears are still untouched. Soucy modified the roof to accept an RV rooftop air conditioner powered by a Carrier generator. Soucy says this truck has “been the most reliable” and “most sure-footed truck” he has driven in his 34-year trucking career.
