Truck show season kicks off next month

The 2020 truck show season will get under way in February with a show in Illinois.

The Mid-West Truck and Trailer Show will be held Feb. 7-8 in Peoria, Illinois, at the Peoria Civic Center and will be held in conjunction with the Mid-West Truckers Association’s annual convention. The show will include People’s Choice Awards, voted on by those attending the show, and the Drivers’ Choice Awards voted on by those who have trucks entered in the competition.

In March, the annual PKY Truck Beauty Championship will be held at the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, Kentucky. The show is set for March 26-28 at the Kentucky Exposition Center. The show will feature the Best In Show award, along with a nighttime light show, custom truck parade and more. Pre-registration is available for the event online here.

A month later in Wildwood, Florida, 75 Chrome Shop will host its 22nd annual 75 Chrome Shop Truck Show on April 24-26. This a non-judged show, with the $25,000 in prizes handed out based on voting by those in attendance. There is also the shops “Prime Shine” trophy. Truck registration is open here.
