Electronic logging device app provider KeepTruckin announced Friday it has partnered with mobile payment platform Comdata to allow the purchase and integration of its logging functionality in Comdata’s MyFleet service.

KeepTruckin said the service is geared toward small fleets.

In addition to hours logging functionality, the integration of KeepTruckin into Comdata’s system allows owner-operators to report quarterly IFTA via the MyFleet system. KeepTruckin transmits GPS logs to Comdata via its fully administered fuel tax system, allowing a simple IFTA reporting platform, the companies said.

In addition to hours and IFTA compliance, the KeepTruckin-Comdata integration offers vehicle inspection reporting, truck usage information like idle time, vehicle diagnostics and driver scorecards.

KeepTruckin’s ELD app has been self-certified with the U.S. DOT as an ELD mandate-compliant system.
