TruckWeight Smart Scale system

The Smart Scale system features a backlit handheld wireless receiver and an expanded memory capacity from a previous model, allowing units to store configuration data for up to 2,000 different trailers. The system has a signal range of up to 500 feet and allows driver monitoring from in the cab or away from the truck. Sensors are available for both air-ride and mechanical suspensions, can be installed without tools and run off of AA batteries.

Wireless sensors on each axle group read and relay weight information to a handheld unit, which, the company says, can save time and money. TruckWeight says the Smart Scale system is accurate to 1 percent of gross vehicle weight.
