Improved side skirt

Utility Trailer Manufacturing Company, manufacturer of refrigerated trailers, dry freight vans, flatbeds and Tautliner curtainsided trailers, has announced enhancements to its USS-120A side skirt. The product is securely bolted by a “spring” attachment to the support leg wingplate. The reinforcement will allow enough of the forward edge of the material to engage the slip joint. To improve the durability of the product, galvanized high-tensile steel braces that connect to the side skirt’s cross-members have been moved up by 5.75 inches, which will allow the product to bend and flex more freely on impact.
