Weatherproof seal on connectors

PermaplugPhillips Industries has added a sealing Weather-Tite seal to its Permaplug seven-way electrical connector, in order to improve and extend the life of the product. The seal has a three-blade Nitrile wiper seal to keep out elements and corrosion-causing chemicals. Other features include a ratchet-locked cable guard preventing vibration from loosening guard, ABS bumper on connector, steel-compression springs on the 26-gauge brass insert pins and compatibility with any SAE-approved 7-way conductor socket.
