Larson’s no-drill magnetic steel mounting plate is designed for use with magnetic base lighting fixtures up to 20 pounds on 2017-18 Ford F-250, F-350, F-450 and F-550 Super Duty aluminum body pickup trucks without drilling holes, offering fleet and utility vehicle operators a convenient mounting location for security, property management, construction and farming operations. Constructed of durable powercoated aluminum and steel and built with windload for highway speeds, the plate is rugged to last in harsh outdoor conditions, while a weatherproof seal helps keep the installation dry and secure and protect the body vehicle’s body against scratches. The plate is installed via the third brake light on the back of the vehicle by removing the brake light, positioning the bracket and reinstalling the light through the bracket.
