Not to mention increased vacation traffic and highway construction.

However, the good news is that the current issue of the Overdrive and Truckers News Truckers' Gear Guide from the RoadPro Family of Brands is now online, and it’s loaded with products and information that will make life on the road at least a little easier.

Included in this edition:

  • Weight loss -- especially for truckers on the road -- can be like life on a seesaw: down one week, but up the next. Brandon Rothrock, creator and owner of B-Lean Fitness, offers a workable road map for "Achieving lasting weight loss as a trucker."
  • Hope Zvara, founder of Mother Trucker Yoga explains how "harnessing the power of gratitude on the road" can turn any long stretch of highway into a scenic route. She suggests drivers "hit the road with a thankful heart and watch how the world opens up in return." Try it, and see what happens this summer.
  • There are any number of devices that can make summer on the highway more comfortable and keep you, the trucker, better connected. Included in the Gear Guide is a look at the various Bluetooth-enabled devices that can make your driving easier and your cab free of wires. Two such devices are the Garmin dēzl 100/200 series Bluetooth-enabled headsets, which Garmin built with the pro driver in mind. They supply long-term battery life to keep drivers connected, and noise-cancelling technology so you hear those who call you and they can hear you loud and clear.
  • Several veteran truckers have some tips to make your driving, regardless of the season, easier and safer. Tiffany and Jeremy Wallin offer their best tips for navigating in tight spaces and heavy traffic. Garvis Hayse offer insights on how to stay organized on the road. And, on the lighter side, Jennifer Kohl explains the ins and outs of raising fur babies on the road.

But, truckers cannot live by information alone. That's why the new Gear Guide has recipes for beef hash and On-The-Go Pot Roast.

Summer can be an especially demanding time on the road, but the Overdrive and Truckers News Truckers' Gear Guide from the RoadPro Family of Brands can make your livin’ on the road a little bit easier.
