New severe-duty wheel-end products from RevHD

Heavy-duty wheel-end component manufacturer RevHD recently introduced three new products to strengthen its product lineup -- its Severe Duty Half-Stand Bearing Sets, premium Rev-Spacers line, and new Severe Duty Hub Caps.

While premium, pricing is straightforward and comparable to standard bearings.

“As more fleets adopt pre-adjusted hubs, RevHD has been quick to respond with solutions that simplify maintenance -- no matter what technicians see roll through the shop,” said Sean McDonald, President of RevHD. “Our Severe Duty Half-Stand Bearing Sets offer universal compatibility, providing our customers with both simplicity and flexibility.”

The new Rev-Spacers line is designed to match with the Severe Duty Bearing Sets. Manufactured with tight tolerances, the spacers make proper torquing of spindle nuts a breeze, according to RevHD. Made from heavy-duty hardened steel for durability, the spacers feature the torque setting printed right on the spacer, which allows for quick and accurate adjustments.

Like other RevHD products, both the Half-Stand Bearing Sets and the Rev-Spacers feature packaging with an easy part numbering system for clear cross-referencing of applications and comparable parts. 

New hub caps, too, provide durability, reliability and ease of installation, furthering the company’s mission to provide simpler wheel-end maintenance for safer fleets, the company said. 

RevHD’s Severe Duty Hub Caps feature a side fill with a magnetic plug that captures metal shavings, preventing them from causing additional wear or damage to critical components like bearings and seals.RevHDThe new Severe Duty Hub Caps feature:

• Spoke-reinforced design to prevent lens cracking
• Removable clog-free plug for easy maintenance
• Thicker flange and body for enhanced durability
• One-piece construction that does away with a separate window kit and eliminates a potential leak path
• Durable, transparent window for quick lubricant checks and easier filling

Each hub cap also includes a free TempBolt -- a heat check sensor that alerts users when the hub temperature exceeds 250 degrees Fahrenheit. This added safety feature helps monitor wheel-end health in real-time, working to prevent costly failures and unexpected downtime. 

The new products are available now through the company’s network of authorized dealers.
