My passion for trucking has not only become a lifestyle but an obsession! Monday through Sunday that’s either all I’m doing or talking about. I’m the black sheep in my family if thats what you’d like to call it. No body in my family has a history of being a truck driver, so I decided to go out there on a limb and give it a shot. With lots of waiting and much persuasion as a female pursuing a career as a professional CDL driver I managed to receive a full federal nonrepayable pell grant to NETTTS tractor-trailer school. With over just a month of dedication, determination, early mornings and long commutes I graduated with a Class A CDL. Formally I was an 18-year-old college student looking for more than a piece of paper ensuring, “I’ll make it in the real world.” It’s been a tough few years working in a man’s world but I truly wouldn’t have it any other way. I found a great love and respect for those of us out here making a living. But you know what they say ” if you love what you do, you never work a day in your life!” I currently drive a Peterbilt pulling a walking floor trailer. I have an over all experience in on-road/off-road trucking. I’ve pulled a flat bed, landoll, 53-inch van trailer, dump trailer and dump truck construction services. I also have a tanker endorsement for pool water in the summers. I believe that there is nothing more beautiful than a woman who works with pride and confidence :)
