I’m 31 yrs old. I’m a mother of five, I drive team with my husband. I’ve been a truck driver for 10 years. I have been a driver, owner-operator, with my own company. Now I own my own truck leased to a good company. I believe I’m beautiful because I sacrifice my self every day being away from my children working hard to give them a better life. Give them the opportunity I never had. I have a clean mvr and like my husband says I drive like an old lady. But if it keeps me safe I do it. My children always want me to go home and I have to explain to them that I have to work to keep a roof over their head and food on the table. I love them and miss them everyday. But that’s why I feel I should nominate myself.
