Snickers is my Hearing Dog and has been on duty with me since 2002. She is now a 14-year old Akita-German Shepherd and is no stranger to going out in public with me. Snickers has a book titled, “Justice For Snickers” that is being penned right now, as the title came from a friend who suggested it when he heard about the discrimination case we’re involved in (we’re the plaintiffs). She goes nearly everywhere I do, with some exceptions. Yes, she even goes into truck stops and is a professional at it.
