Share the road: Do you have a preferred make and model of truck?

Here’s another question for you in our “Share the Road” series of efforts to garner your audio answers to questions from Over the Road podcast listeners, most coming from outside trucking but some from within. This one, like our last one having to do with the Jake brake (tip of the hat to Jonathan down in Tallahassee for his great answer on that one, among others), came up more than once. And it’s one we know most anyone here can answer — do you have a preference in make/model when it comes to your truck equipment? If so, what is that preference? And if so or if not, why?

Answers might run the gamut, of course. And if you do favor a particular make or model, whether your favored brand has a relation to your business’ specific operational considerations or is just a function of interest in carrying on a tradition of family forebears — or whatever the case — you can share the knowledge via the Overdrive Radio podcast line at 530-408-6423.
