Any of you show truck aficionados who’ll be in central Florida April 24-26 can get a good fix at the 75 Chrome shop show. It’s the first Overdrive’s Pride & Polish event of 2015, taking place that weekend at the shop on I-75, just northwest of Orlando (map).

Can’t make that? Check the locations and dates for our four other competitions this year.

We never know who all the entrants will be until the last ones show up, but to whet your whistle, here’s a six-second loop of six stars from our 2006 Pride & Polish calendar.

Starting with the antique red Mack, these are the rigs and their owners at the time:

  • Jeff Hardage’s 1963 Mack B83.
  • Jeff Hamilton’s 2001 Kenworth W900L.
  • Bryan Martin’s Mobsled Peterbilt, a non-working truck customized by Martin’s Chrome Shop Mafia.
  • John Schmitz’s 2000 Peterbilt 379.
  • Robert Young’s 1981 Peterbilt 362.
  • Wayne Baker’s 2002 Peterbilt 379.
